Great to meet you!

Greetings!

I'm Corey, board-certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive mental health care for individuals across the lifespan. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to truly listening to your story and working with you to create a personalized path toward healing, balance, and improved well-being.

With a strong foundation in both nursing and psychiatry, I offer an integrative approach to mental health that combines thoughtful medication management with supportive, therapeutic care. I work with individuals facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, and stress-related conditions.

I believe in treating the whole person—not just symptoms. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and rooted in evidence-based practices. Whether you're seeking a new diagnosis, exploring treatment options, or need ongoing support to maintain your mental health, I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

Clients often come to me because they value thoughtful insight, nonjudgmental support, creativity, and a results-oriented mindset. I believe that the right help—delivered with empathy and expertise—can make all the difference.

Taking the first step can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help you move forward, with care that meets you where you are.

My approach to therapy

As a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, share decision making and evidence-based care. I believe that mental health treatment should be personalized, respectful, and supportive of your goals—whether you're seeking symptom relief, greater emotional balance, or long-term wellness.

Clients often describe my style as warm, attentive, and nonjudgmental. I take the time to get to know you—not just your symptoms or diagnosis, but your story, your strengths, and what matters most to you. Our work together is a partnership. I’ll offer clinical expertise and guidance, but your voice, preferences, and lived experience will always lead the way.

I take an integrative approach that includes:

  • Psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis
  • Medication management, when appropriate
  • Psychoeducation to help you understand your mental health
  • Supportive, brief psychotherapy techniques such as CBT, mindfulness, or solution-focused work, based on your needs

I work with adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and panic disorders
  • Depression and mood disorders
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • ADHD
  • Sleep issues
  • Stress related to work, relationships, or life transitions

What you can expect from me

I believe that healing begins with feeling safe, seen, and supported. In my practice, I’ve created an environment that is inclusive, calm, respectful, and welcoming—where you can show up just as you are, without fear of judgment.

I want you to feel that this is a space where you can speak openly, ask questions freely, and take your time. Your comfort and emotional safety are always my priority.

I approach each session with empathy, patience, and genuine curiosity. I understand that talking about mental health can leave one feeling vulnerable, and I honor that by creating a space where you feel heard and validated. I also respect your autonomy—your voice and choices matter in every part of your care.

Our first appointment will be a comprehensive evaluation, where we’ll discuss your current concerns, history, and goals. From there, I’ll work with you to create a care plan that may include medication, lifestyle changes, and therapeutic support. With medication management I believe in starting with the lowest effective dose, reviewing progress regularly, and adjusting as needed—always in collaboration with you.

Whether you’re beginning treatment for the first time or returning after a break, my goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and supported every step of the way.
