Great to meet you!

She earned her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Wilkes University and holds a Family Nurse Practitioner certification from The George Washington University.

With over eight years of healthcare experience, Courtney brings a unique and comprehensive perspective to patient care. Her clinical background spans outpatient psychiatry, primary care, pain management, aesthetics, and disability evaluations for veterans and state agencies. This diverse experience allows her to understand the complex connection between physical and mental health and provide truly holistic treatment.

Courtney specializes in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, mood disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. She believes that every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment journey. Her approach combines thoughtful medication management, psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)-informed interventions, and collaborative treatment planning tailored to each individual's goals and lifestyle.

My approach to therapy

Patients appreciate Courtney's warm, nonjudgmental approach and her commitment to creating a safe space where they can openly discuss their concerns. She takes the time to understand each person's unique story and works closely with them to develop practical strategies that promote symptom improvement, resilience, and long-term success.

What you can expect from me

Your initial appointment is designed to help us gain a comprehensive understanding of your concerns, symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals. During this visit, we will discuss what has brought you to treatment, how your symptoms are affecting your daily life, and any previous experiences you have had with therapy, medications, or other mental health services.

I take a collaborative and patient-centered approach, which means I believe the best treatment plans are developed together. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and asking questions.
