Great to meet you!

I work with adults who are tired of therapy that doesn't account for the full picture of who they are. My practice centers neurodivergent adults — people living with ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and Anxiety — with a particular focus on Black, POC, and LGBTQIA+ clients navigating systems and identities that weren't designed for them. I bring both clinical training and lived cultural experience to this work. You won't have to translate yourself here. I specialize in Executive Functioning and Mood Regulation and I use a creative, evidence-based approach — drawing from ACT, CBT, Narrative Therapy, expressive arts, and more — tailored to how your brain actually works, not how it "should" work. I accept Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, Horizon BCBS NJ, and Independence Blue Cross PA, and I offer telehealth sessions across North Carolina.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be active, not just reflective. We'll use a blend of evidence-based tools — including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral approaches, expressive art activities, and psychoeducation — to help you understand your patterns and actually shift them. I match my approach to you: if you're in crisis, we stabilize. If you're doing okay but want more, we build. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Every session is shaped by what you need that day. My style is direct, warm, and at times — yes — genuinely fun. Hard work doesn't have to feel heavy all the time.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a two-way conversation — I'm learning about you, and you're deciding if I'm the right fit. There's no pressure to dive deep immediately. We'll talk about what's brought you here, what's worked (and what hasn't) in the past, and what you actually want your life to feel like. By the end, we'll have the beginning of a plan that's grounded in your goals. I want you to leave your first session feeling heard, not assessed.
