Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Courtney, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have 7 years experience working in the mental health field. I am a compassionate, client-centered therapist with experience working with both adults and children. I specialize in helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, and depression, and I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.

My approach to therapy

I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I work collaboratively with clients to process difficult experiences at a pace that feels safe, empowering, and tailored to their unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session would feel warm, thoughtful, and pretty conversational. We'd discuss what brought you into therapy. I’d want to understand the your strengths and different parts of your life—work, relationships, family, your support system, and what a typical day looks like. By the end of the first session, my goals wouldn’t be to solve everything. They’d be to make sure you felt heard, identify a few themes, and work together on what you’d like therapy to accomplish.
