Great to meet you!

I'm passionate about this work because I struggled with many of the same things I help others with. I've been in the trenches of despair, hopelessness, and feeling stuck, and I know there is a way out! I struggled in addictions and mental illnesses for 20 years before I found real freedom and I believe it's my calling to help others find their unique pathway to wholeness that is satisfying and joy-filled. I went back to school as a single mom to get my masters in social work so I could strategically walk alongside my clients in their time of need and help them became stable and the best version of themselves. I've worked in residential treatment centers for co-occurring disorders for over 10 years and have an expertise in treating all addictions, codependency, eating disorders, and relational trauma. I use an eclectic approach which utilizes multiple evidence-based practices, such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. I lean heavily on attachment theory and looking at individuals early familial relationships which often pave the foundation for the rest of their relationships. I teach them how to heal their inner child and learn to integrate all their "parts" through transformative trauma work which incorporates psychodynamic therapy modalities.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, warm, eclectic, and open-minded. I want you to not only believe you are living your best life, but to deeply feel and know you are exactly who you have always been meant to be.

What you can expect from me
