Great to meet you!

My name is Courtney Kadish-Smith and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have worked in both mental health and addiction throughout my career. I have a passion for therapy and at the end of the day I am aware this is not an easy thing to commit too. Exploring into ourselves and working to get better is something that takes courage. I applaud you for reaching out in the first place and now we can take the step together towards making your life better.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is adaptive and flexible. I work to meet you where you are at and you are the expert of your life. My job is to help guide you through and support you towards your goals whatever those may be.

What you can expect from me

I would like for you to feel at the end of session heard and validated. These are the two things I really focus on with you throughout sessions and want you to feel comfortable and be able to express yourself in a safe environment. My hope is that you work through the barriers presented to you with support from me and be more confident in feeling as though you are not alone on this journey. I know this process is not an easy one and I commend you for taking the leap.
