Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who likes to bring warmth, fun, and energy to my therapy sessions. I currently specialize in bringing my past experience with treating trauma, anxiety, and depression to clients who may not have traditionally sought therapy but find the ever-changing stresses of culture, society and/or demands of work-life or even parent-life balance to be a bit overwhelming by using CBT, motivational, and solution focused therapies combined with mindfulness and meditation.

My approach to therapy

In our therapy sessions we'll work as a team to help you find your own voice, your own way, no matter what limitations you may feel your past or others have placed on you. Even pain and change can come with laughs and acceptance as mile markers on your path of growth. Specific areas of focus include maternal (perinatal) mental health, non-gender/sex specific adjustment issues with age or life changes, as well as mild-moderate anxiety and depression.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to experience a free-flowing and non-judgmental conversation where you can be heard and understood as the unique individual you are with a new sense of clarity, direction, and confidence. Some of my goals for each client are teaching you to understand and recognize your own narrative, along with establishing boundaries, and recognizing hope, laughter, and acceptance as aspects of resiliency and growth.
