I have over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through a range of emotional and life challenges. My work has included providing care in schools, hospitals, and outpatient settings, with a focus on helping young people and their support systems navigate transitions and periods of increased need. I work with individuals across different stages of life, helping them manage emotional, relational, and psychological challenges that may be affecting their well-being. I place a strong emphasis on building a genuine and trusting connection, creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself and sharing your experiences.
My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented. I focus on understanding your unique needs and working together to develop practical strategies that support meaningful progress. I draw from evidence-based practices while tailoring care to fit what works best for you. My priority is to provide a safe and supportive environment where we can work together to better understand your concerns and move toward positive and lasting change.
During our first session I work to create an environment where my client feels comfortable as we get to know one another. I focus on rapport building, and understanding my client's point of view and what they wish to work on.
