Great to meet you!

As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist in NJ, I specialize in counseling adults with Autism, ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety using neurodiversity affirming and evidence-based approaches to CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness-based CBT. I provide skills and strategies aimed at increasing self esteem and management of rejection sensitivity, understanding your own unique needs, managing symptoms in effective ways, preventing burnout, managing senory overload, and practical approaches to executive function.

My approach to therapy

Traditional CBT tells you to "challenge your thoughts." I won't gaslight your lived experience. Instead, I use CBT to untangle neurotypical standards from your true values, identify gaslighting you’ve experienced from an unaccommodating world, and address internalized shame. Instead of focusing on compliance or masking, I use DBT skills for practical distress tolerance and emotional regulation. I focus on sensory profiles, managing neurodivergent burnout, navigating shut downs.

As a caring and non-judgmental therapist, I apply evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches so that you get effective relief and reduction of your symptoms. Evidence-based techniques are the gold standard for therapy approaches. I'm here to help with effective tools, strategies, and skills to reduce anxiety, reduce depression, and help you get through difficult life challenges.
