Great to meet you!
My career is social work, but my life’s work is being a mother and Nana. I am a Marine Corps veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the social work field, working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, as well as juveniles involved in the justice system and military service members in correctional settings.
I believe strongly in the importance of self-care, so you can expect it to be an ongoing conversation throughout treatment. I also believe therapy doesn’t always have to feel clinical or formal—there is room for authenticity, humor, and real conversation.
Outside of my professional life, I’m an avid football fan (Go Cowboys!), a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a lifelong traveler who loves experiencing new places and cultures.
