Dr. Hopkins received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama in 2013. Dr. Hopkins is dually board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC. She currently works in private practice as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing telehealth in several states across the lifespan.
Every person is an individual. All clients deserve mental health care tailored to the individual that is seeking care. My goal for every client is to improve their mood and overall health by providing compassionate mental and medical health care.
Dr. Hopkins loves working with clients, their families, and other mental health providers to improve the best mental health treatment and outcomes of her clients. She often uses cognitive behavioral therapy and supportive therapy techniques when evaluating and treating mental health issues. All clients are evaluated holistically in order to provide well-rounded care.
