Great to meet you!

I believe every person deserves a safe space to heal, grow, and rediscover their strengths. I am Crystal Jones, MSW, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across school, community, and outpatient mental health settings.

My professional journey has been rooted in helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, respect, and practical support. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from East Carolina University and my Master of Social Work from North Carolina Central University. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress, behavioral concerns, self-esteem challenges, and family relationship difficulties.

I strive to create an environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. I recognize that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and I am committed to meeting each client where they are while helping them move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Whether you are seeking support during a difficult season or working toward personal growth, I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I believe that each client is the expert on their own life, and my role is to provide guidance, support, evidence-based interventions, and a nonjudgmental space where healing can occur.

I tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs and goals by integrating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based Practice, and mindfulness-informed interventions when appropriate. Together, we identify patterns, develop healthy coping strategies, build resilience, and create realistic goals that support long-term wellness.

I value authenticity, empathy, cultural humility, and genuine connection. My goal is not simply to help clients manage symptoms but to empower them with the tools and confidence needed to thrive beyond therapy.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace.

During our initial session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your current concerns, review your personal history, identify your strengths, and talk about the goals you hope to achieve. We'll also discuss any questions you have about the therapy process and work together to develop a treatment plan that reflects your individual needs and priorities.

You can expect to leave your first session with greater clarity about your goals, an understanding of how we'll work together, and the reassurance that you do not have to face life's challenges alone. My hope is that each session leaves you feeling supported, encouraged, and equipped with practical tools to continue making progress between appointments.
