Great to meet you!

I have a strong interest and speciality in Eating Disorders. I totally recognize that Food Addiction is real and our relationship with food and body image is complicated in America. In 2018, I co-authored a chapter in Trauma-Informed approaches to Eating Disorders: fractured not broken. Today I am gathering data to write about Nutrition and Mental Health.

I personally have experienced soulful pain and loss of hope. I chose this career path to be a light to those in the darkness of pain and suffering.

My approach to therapy

I believe in giving the client tools to navigate what is going on in your life. Tools such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness and psycho-education interventions that will help you learn strategies to reframe thoughts , navigate emotions and understand how both are linked to unwanted behaviors. I invite you to collaborate with me to find your voice, your truth, freedom and a more peaceful and joyful self.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session is about getting to know each other and discussing your symptoms and history.

We may discuss your therapy goals and if and how you would want to be challenged. We will create together the best way for the two of us to check in at the begining of your sessions.

My hope is that you find the acceptance and compassion that helps you find meaning and the healing that you deserve
