Great to meet you!

Greetings and welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who supports all clients with honesty, transparency, and respect. I hold dual Master’s degrees in Marriage & Family Therapy and Industrial-Organizational Psychology, which allows me to bring both personal and professional insight into the therapeutic space.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey—one where you show up as your authentic self and know that you’ll be supported every step of the way. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can gain or strengthen the tools you need to navigate life’s challenges and work toward the goals that matter most to you.

You are the expert and driver of your life journey, and I am here to be your passenger, helping you discover your strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, thoughtfully integrating cultural considerations to ensure that each client’s unique experiences are honored and respected. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and Person-centered therapy, tailoring my work to meet your specific needs and goals.

As an LGBTQIA+ supporter and sex educator, I bring empathy, active listening, and an unwavering commitment to being fully present with my clients—whom I affectionately refer to as my people. I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, transparency, and mutual respect.

This approach creates space for learning, engagement, and meaningful growth—helping you access and build upon the strengths you already possess. I see myself as a passenger on your life journey, walking alongside you in a safe, nonjudgmental, ethical, and supportive environment where healing and transformation can happen.

What you can expect from me

In our first counseling session, we’ll start with a warm introduction and review the limits of confidentiality to ensure a clear understanding of your rights and expectations in therapy. We’ll also complete a psychosocial assessment and begin exploring the issue or concern that brought you to seek support.

Together, we’ll collaborate to create a personalized treatment plan that reflects your goals and priorities. This plan serves as a roadmap for our future sessions and allows us to measure progress along the way—making sure your therapy is meaningful, focused, and supportive of your growth.
