Great to meet you!

I bring nearly a decade of experience across many clinical settings including crisis stabilization, schools, hospitals, and private practice. As a licensed clinical social worker I specialize in working with individuals who are neurodivergent and are looking to work on executive functioning difficulties, identity development, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and we will work together to find what will be most helpful in assisting you to meet your therapeutic goals. While some prefer a structured session others prefer a more go with the flow approach. I bring a background in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Jungian Therapy, and Somatic Therapy, which I draw on flexibly depending on what may be useful for the moment and situation. I enjoy teaching individuals about how their neurodivergent brain works differently than a neurotypical brain and how we can use that to our advantage.

My approach combines drawing on therapeutic models and practical strategies with genuine conversation. I believe therapy should be both useful and real - a place where you can process your experiences while building concrete skills to make life more manageable. Plus, I think it's okay to laugh sometimes, even when working through serious stuff.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be an opportunity for us both to figure out if this is a good fit for your therapeutic journey. I will review forms, ask a few questions about your mental health history, and try to better understand what it is you would like to gain from therapy at this time. From there, you can take the lead on what feels like the challenges you would like to start with. We will work together to find solutions that actually fit your life and your brain.
