Great to meet you!

Maybe you know exactly what has been going on.

Maybe you only know that you have not felt like yourself lately. Either way, you do not need the perfect words to begin.

I am Cynthia Love, a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Avenelle Wellness & Psychiatric Services PLLC.

I provide telehealth psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, sleep difficulties, and other concerns that can make everyday life feel harder than it should.

Many of the people I meet are still showing up for work, school, family, and everyday responsibilities while quietly feeling overwhelmed, distracted, exhausted, anxious, or simply unlike themselves.

My approach to therapy

I believe good psychiatric care starts with understanding the whole picture, not just checking symptoms off a list. I take time to learn what you have been experiencing, what has changed, what has or has not helped before, and what you want to feel different in your everyday life.

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and evidence based. When medication is part of treatment, I want you to understand why we are considering it, what we hope it will help, and what we will monitor together along the way.

I also incorporate education, practical strategies, and supportive therapeutic techniques when appropriate. You are encouraged to ask questions, share concerns, and be part of every decision about your care.

What you can expect from me

You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis, the perfect explanation, or everything figured out.

We will talk through what has been going on, your history, current concerns, previous treatments, medications, sleep, mood, attention, stressors, and the parts of your life that may be affecting how you feel.

By the end of the visit, my goal is for you to leave with a clearer understanding of what may be happening and what the next steps could look like.

Most importantly, you can come as you are.

We can begin there.
