Great to meet you!

Hey there, my name is Cynthia Leeann Mickel. I am a licensed therapist in TX, OR, AZ, and WA. I graduated with my Master's from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. I have worked with a variety of treatment areas and populations. I have work at: CPS, a psychiatric hospital, Clinical Supervisor at an inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, Clinical Director at an out patient program with 4 locations, online therapy working with issues ranging from trauma, depression, anxiety, to grief, adhd, and many others. I have served most populations including: men, women, children 12+, people with legal troubles, relationship concerns, and more.

My approach to therapy

I have found what works best for me and my clients is a personable approach. I am client focused, conversational, and laid back. This creates an environment where my clients feel safe and comfortable, when therapy can be nerve wracking and scary. This allows them to feel comfortable enough to share openly.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will ask if you have questions for me. I like to start where you are. If you do not know where you want to start, then I will lead with getting to know about you questions. The first couple of sessions are mainly information gathering with a few ready to use techniques sprinkled in.
