Great to meet you!

For most of my adult life, I have had the privilege of helping individuals and families navigate challenges, make meaningful changes, and move forward in their lives. Along the way, life has happened to me, too. I have experienced loss, grief, life transitions, and family conflict, and I understand that sometimes even the strongest among us need support finding our way through difficult seasons. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring life experiences, professional training, and a genuine understanding of how complex life can be. I work with adults of all ages who are ready for something to change but may not be quite sure where to begin. My approach is down-to-earth, curious, compassionate, and focused on making our time together meaningful or forward focused.

My approach to therapy

I use a holistic approach by addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit in order to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. I will ask questions in order to see the big picture of your life; what you were exposed to and what may still be affecting the way you think and react. I will help you to seek out your inner strengths and to discard the thinking that no longer serves a positive purpose in your life.

What you can expect from me

I will have you take me on the journey through your life, beginning with childhood and leading up to the current day and your reason for coming to therapy. I will ask you to tell me what goals you have with therapy and together we will build a treatment plan that will help you reach those goals. The treatment plan is the blueprint of how to help you achieve your goals and it will include things such as which therapy model we will use and how often we will meet and for how long.
