Great to meet you!

It has been my joy to provide Mental Health Counseling to a diverse clientele for 31 years. It is heartwarming to see clients learn, grow and develop into their best selves. I have a double Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. I specialize in Trauma care and Borderline Personality Disorder. My approach to therapy is empowering and affirming. I endeavor to provide clients with skill sets to manage stressors, improve relationships, tolerate distress and enhance mindfulness and awareness.

My approach to therapy

I seek first to understand the client and their particular needs. This is an ongoing process as we discover goals and objectives. Once we have established a direction for therapy, I will meet you where you are in your development, aide, assist and guide you in processing issues and learning skill sets to manage everyday life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session I seek to hear from you what your wants, wishes, and desires are for living a content, healthy, productive life. I strive to assist you in discovering what is impairing your ability to live peacefully. I may briefly share my professional experience and therapy style. We will also determine goals and objectives for achieving your best self.
