Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Cynthia. I’m a couples and relationship therapist, and I work with couples and individuals of all identities, orientations, and stages of relationship—whether you’re newly together, have been partners for decades, want to strengthen your relationship, are struggling to stay together, or are contemplating separation or divorce.

I help couples who feel lonely, disconnected, or stuck in recurring conflict understand what’s happening beneath the arguments, rebuild emotional safety, and find a healthier path forward. My work is inclusive and affirming of LGBTQIA+ couples and relationships of all kinds.

I don’t assume that staying together is always the goal, and I don’t push couples toward separation. Your goals guide our work together—whether you want to reconnect, communicate more effectively, gain clarity about your relationship, navigate a separation with greater care, or determine what comes next.

Using an evidence-based, focused approach that integrates relational therapy and CBT, we work toward the outcome that matters to you. You don’t have to have all the answers before starting therapy. We can begin exactly where you are.

My approach to therapy

Maybe you aren't sure where to start or how therapy could help. The first call is complimentary, where we can discuss what is most important to you and learn how I can assist. If you think you want to give therapy a try, we can begin. Finding the right match with a therapist is key to making progress. I use a combination of therapeutic approaches and customize this approach based on your needs. It's not one-size-fits -all. I look forward to connecting with you!

What you can expect from me

My goal is to provide a space that is compassionate and non-judgmental, where you can learn about yourself, promote self-growth and reduce suffering. Life can be so challenging that we need to do or try something different. Even something as uncomfortable as therapy. It's worth a try! I can't wait to meet you.
