Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed therapist passionate about working with adolescents and young adults. I believe that many young people grow up being told their feelings don't matter, which can make it difficult to express or even identify emotions later in life. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and validated, knowing that your feelings are real and important; because we've all experienced the opposite, and you deserve better. I primarily work with teens and adults processing childhood experiences. If this sounds like what you need, I would love to work with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-focused and centers on building a strong therapeutic relationship. I primarily use CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, but also draw from ACT, Narrative Therapy, and Gestalt techniques depending on what fits your needs best. Therapeutic approaches are not "one-size-fits-all," but we're going to find your fit. A personalized treatment plan built just for you. I believe in being direct and holding space for accountability, because growth happens when we're willing to look at the hard stuff together. I balance this with warmth and humor, and I love incorporating creative grounding exercises and making space for laughter in our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other. I'll introduce myself and we'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to get out of our work together, and what you're looking for in a therapist. We'll go over confidentiality and what to expect from our sessions. I believe in transparency, so I'll always communicate with you openly about our process. I'll ask questions to understand your background and current situation, but I try to make it feel like a conversation rather than an interview. My hope is that by the end of our first session, you'll feel comfortable, empowered, and like we're building a relationship where you have both support and control over your healing journey.
