Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinician with over 25 years of professional practice experience. I take a holistic approach to care, viewing each client as a whole person and thoughtfully considering the mind, body, and spirit within the context of their life circumstances.

I hold a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and Management, a Master’s degree in Social Work, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. My background includes extensive work in Employee Assistance Programs, where I have supported individuals navigating personal, professional, and organizational challenges. Here is an improved, professional version that flows naturally with your prior statement:

I have also worked extensively with individuals experiencing depression and anxiety, couples navigating relationship challenges, and families facing a wide range of life transitions and stressors. My experience spans diverse personal, relational, and family dynamics, allowing me to tailor support to each client’s unique circumstances and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, strengths-based, and collaborative. I view therapy as a partnership in which clients are respected as the experts of their own lives, while I provide clinical insight, structure, and evidence-informed guidance.

I focus on understanding the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—within the context of their experiences and current life circumstances. Through psychoeducation, reflection, and practical skill-building, I help clients gain insight into how their thoughts influence emotions and behaviors.

I believe meaningful change occurs when perspectives shift. As thinking becomes more adaptive, emotional responses follow, and behaviors are modified, leading to improved outcomes and greater personal empowerment. My goal is to support clients in building on their strengths, increasing self-awareness, and creating lasting, positive change in their lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to take place in a welcoming, supportive environment designed to help them feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their decision to begin therapy. The initial session is an opportunity to build rapport, discuss concerns, and establish a foundation for our work together.

During this session, clients can expect to be asked two key questions: “What brings you here?” and “What are your goals for our work together?” These questions help guide the therapeutic process and ensure that sessions are purposeful, collaborative, and aligned with what matters most to the client.
