Great to meet you!

My name is Daina McAdams, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan and Georgia. I help adults who feel stuck in a place of unhappiness or uncertainty. My clients include people who struggle with major life changes and adjustments, symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress management.

My approach to therapy

I integrate evidence-based methodologies for a holistic experience. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) forms the foundation, enabling collaborative reshaping of thought patterns. Mindfulness cultivates present-moment focus, fostering self-compassion. Positive Psychology principles encourage personal growth and resilience. Sessions are tailored to unique needs, ensuring clients lead the way in an empowering virtual space.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will complete an intake and create a treatment plan, where we explore where your struggles are, what your strengths are, and together we make a plan to help you become the person you want to be. Clients tell me that even after this initial assessment, they feel better because they have identified what they want to work on and know there is a plan in place to help them reach their goals.
