Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker, with over 20 years of experience providing outpatient psychotherapy to adults, couples, and older adults. I offer a supportive, collaborative, and practical approach to therapy, helping clients feel understood while working toward meaningful and sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approaches to therapy are integrating a variety of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused therapy. I believe that individuals can improve their quality of life by gaining new perspectives, increasing self-awareness, and developing healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.

My work often focuses on anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress management, grief, and trauma-related concerns. I like to partners with clients to clarify goals, strengthen coping strategies, and navigate complex emotional or relational issues at a pace that feels safe and empowering.

My therapeutic style is warm, thoughtful, and goal-oriented. I value creating a nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, build insight, and move toward greater emotional balance and well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant background information, and what you’re hoping to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this session moves at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, stressors, and strengths, while also giving you space to talk openly. We’ll review confidentiality, the therapy process, and any practical questions you may have. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and exploring how therapy can support your needs.

You can expect a respectful, nonjudgmental environment focused on collaboration, insight, and practical tools. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer sense of next steps and whether my approach feels like a good fit for you.
