Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in working with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and are navigating depression, anxiety, and other emotional challenges. I also have several years of experience working with prospective adoptive parents and diverse family systems.

I believe mental health is an essential part of overall well-being. Together, we will work toward greater emotional security and balance so you can engage more fully in life’s experiences. For me, a positive mental health day includes attending a Pilates class and spending time with friends.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and personalized. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, build on your strengths, and identify strategies to support greater balance and emotional well-being.

I believe therapy should be individualized and grounded in education. I draw primarily from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Parent Management Training (PMT), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET) to guide our work. My goal is to help you or your child build confidence and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

When we first meet, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a trusting relationship. We’ll talk about what you’re currently experiencing, your personal history, and what you hope to accomplish.

I’ll answer your questions, explain what you can expect, and collaborate with you on a treatment plan that feels comfortable and meaningful. My hope is that therapy helps you reconnect with the activities and experiences that bring you joy and support your well-being so you can create your own version of a “positive mental health day.”
