Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas (and LMHC in Florida) and an Air Force veteran with experience in deployments. I earned my Master's Degree Counseling and Psychology, and am qualified to provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy. I help individuals and families in depression, anxiety, life changes, trauma (PTSD), anger management, parenting, and relationship challenges. I also have worked extensively with LGBTQIA+ individuals and families.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is a combination of warmth and empathy, along with tactful honesty and accountability. I believe in allowing my clients to take ownership of their therapy and gain skills in advocating for themselves and their loved ones. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psycho-education, mindfulness, and humanistic treatment approaches. I understand that sometimes all a person needs is an attentive ear, but also quick and useful solutions to problematic symptoms or issues.

What you can expect from me

Your sessions will be a safe, non-judgemental place to talk about what is on your mind, how you feel, and the struggles and challenges you are facing in life or processing past events that are keeping you stuck in old patterns that no longer serve you.
