Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe caring for your mental health is essential to a fulfilling, balanced life. Seeking support can feel difficult, and I’m glad you’re taking this step toward your well-being. I’m Dr. D.B. Marshall, and I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I especially welcome vulnerable clients seeking an affirming space to explore their experiences, build confidence, and find greater clarity and purpose.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and centered on your needs. I listen with empathy while helping you explore how your thoughts, emotions, and experiences shape your daily life. Together, we identify patterns, build practical coping skills, and set meaningful goals to address anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I offer an affirming space where I respect your identity and experiences, and we work at a pace that supports your growth.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a relaxed, supportive conversation focused on getting to know you. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, your concerns, strengths, and goals. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at your pace and begin creating a plan together.
