Great to meet you!
Hello, my name is Dana Dicken, LMSW, and I am passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience. I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from Spring Arbor University and have experience working in school-based, home-based and outpatient mental health settings, supporting individuals through a range of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns.
My approach to therapy is authentic, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe that every person has unique strengths, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we work to identify goals and develop practical coping strategies.
I have experience treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and family relationship challenges. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, psychoeducation, and trauma-informed care, tailoring treatment to each client's individual needs.
I am particularly passionate about working with young people and families and believe in fostering hope, resilience, and growth. I am committed to meeting you where you are and helping you move toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
I look forward to being a part of your journey.
