Great to meet you!

Dana's a professional listener and encourager. First, her career was Social Work, then she became a military spouse and here learned sacrifice and tenacity . She created a home for her husband and three children for the next sixteen years, as they survived two deployments and wore many hats as a social worker, wife, teacher, mom, homeschool educator, women’s advocate, business owner, and adoptive parent before starting counseling.

My approach to therapy

Dana's first goal is to help clients differentiate themselves. Next, she helps you navigate the systems of family of origin, calling/work, and children. Finally, she directs and encourages you to better, clearer, more hopeful directions using ACT therapy, Internal Family Systems, Gottman for relationships, Her deep understanding of relationships with your physical, emotional, and spiritual self.

What you can expect from me

Dana brings her experience and humor, to guide people to self-acceptance and encourage authenticity. She works with individuals, couples, and families to harness their resources to address difficulties, take a new direction, and move toward hope. Life experiences have allowed her to be empathetically present with people through rough times, disappointments, heartaches, and general uncertainty. Her counseling helps clients build resilience through acceptance and a commitment to finding hope.
