Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a background in school counseling and emotional wellness support for children, teens, and adults. I work with clients navigating anxiety, stress, ADHD, life transitions, identity development, and family or relationship challenges. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported. I value collaboration and use an integrative approach to tailor therapy to each person's needs, strengths, and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, integrative, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I frequently draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, mindfulness, and family-systems perspectives. I help clients build insight and coping skills, as well as emotional regulation tools they can use in daily life. I also incorporate creative, expressive arts, and play-based techniques when helpful, especially with children and adolescents.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy at this time. We will talk about your current concerns, relevant history, strengths, and what you hope to change or improve. We can move at your pace; there isn't any pressure to share everything at once. I will ask some questions to better understand your experiences and goals, and we will begin outlining a plan for our work together. Most clients say it feels more like a supportive conversation than an evaluation. My goal is to begin to understand the presenting concerns, and for you to feel heard, understood, and leave with clarity about the next steps.
