Great to meet you!

As someone who has sat in your seat searching for a therapist, I understand that this journey can feel messy and scary. I am so proud of you for taking this first step! As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 6 years of experience in the field, I am here to make sure you feel as supported and safe as possible as we navigate your healing journey together. Although I have had a range of experience working with various populations, I prefer supporting adults aged 25+ who are ready and willing to let go of the shame and burdens developed from past experiences, and ready to cultivate a deeper connection to their mind, body, and spirit in order to live their best lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach comes from a person-centered lens where you are the driver of your healing journey, and I am here to offer support and gas you up along the way! Unlike traditional talk therapy, I utilize concepts from IFS, ACT, Polyvagal Theory, guided imagery, and mindfulness techniques to help you further understand your mind/body connection and its relationship to trauma. I appreciate open and honest communication where both parties feel respected and safe. Through gentle exploration of your inner world, we will work to access new perspectives to bring forward transformation. Together, we can be a team in discovering your inner strength, wisdom, and empowerment.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to make our initial session feel as minimally scary as possible where we simply get to know one another. This is the time to ask me questions about our work together, and let me know what you want to work on- what are your goals and dreams? Not sure of that? That's totally okay! I'm always here to start with the basics.

Been in therapy before? That's great! I want to know what worked and what didn't work for you before coming to me, and what led you to me now. First timer? Amazing! Welcome. No matter the path you took to get here today, please ground into the knowledge that I strive to I create a soft place to land where you will feel seen, heard, and safe to explore and be authentically "you".
