I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and respect for the unique path each individual walks recognizing that every person’s story, strengths, and struggles are their own, and I works collaboratively with clients to better understand their experiences while identifying opportunities for growth. My work often involves helping clients examine beliefs and patterns that may be limiting their well-being, while encouraging new behaviors and healthier ways of thinking that support a more fulfilling direction in life.
Central to my philosophy is the belief that meaningful change happens when clients are actively engaged in the process. I encourage individuals to invest in their goals, celebrate incremental progress, and define what success looks like for themselves. My therapeutic style is strength based and grounded in unconditional positive regard, honoring the inherent value of every person I work with. I view the counseling relationship as deeply relational and approaches each session with intention, respect, and care.
I work collaboratively with clients to explore thoughts, emotions, and past experiences while building practical skills that support emotional regulation, interpersonal growth, and cognitive flexibility. My clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB). Upon request, I also offer Christian counseling for clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process.
