Great to meet you!

Danielle’s professional career began in education as a teacher, where she dedicated 10 years to shaping young minds. This experience eventually led her to transition into the role of a school counselor, sparking a deep passion and love for working with adolescents. Her time in the school system was instrumental in building her expertise in supporting young people during critical phases of their development.

In 2019, Danielle took a leap of faith and founded Healthy Healing Counseling Services, her private practice. This significant milestone came during one of the most challenging periods of her life: navigating a divorce from her high school sweetheart after 17 years of marriage and raising three children. While the experience was devastating, it became a catalyst for Danielle to channel her energy into helping other women facing similar struggles. Her personal journey of resilience and healing deeply informs her work, allowing her to connect with clients on a profound and authentic level.

Through Healthy Healing Counseling Services, Danielle combines her educational background, professional expertise, and personal experiences to empower women and adolescent girls dealing with mental health challenges and life transitions. She believes that every individual holds the answers within themselves. Using a holistic approach, Danielle provides her clients with practical tools such as mindfulness, breathwork, and meditation to navigate anxiety, depression, grief, and other challenges.

Danielle’s mission is to create a safe and supportive space where healing and personal growth can flourish. Clients have described her as relatable, easy to talk to, and deeply committed to their well-being. Whether you’re seeking guidance for yourself or a loved one, Danielle is here to help you uncover your inner strength and achieve your goals.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is designed for me to get to know you and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe that in order to truly open up, we must first build trust and rapport.

During this session, we will:

Review your intake documents together.

Discuss what therapy with me will look like.

Talk about your life story — starting with childhood. I find that many of the challenges we face as adults are rooted in early experiences, so I want to hear about all the significant events that have shaped who you are today.

Explore what brought you to therapy at this time.

Set goals for therapy and decide together how often we will meet.

I will also answer any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and at ease as we begin this journey together.
