Great to meet you!

I believe we do our best based on what we’ve learned from important relationships and situations. We feel distress when what we’ve learned no longer works and our coping skills get overwhelmed. With the right conditions, growth can occur.

With over 20+ years of experience with clients across the spectrums of age, ethnicity, sexual and gender identity, religious/spiritual orientation, income level, and ability status, I've learned to practice with cultural humility.

My approach to therapy

I provide a safe and supportive space that encourages expressing yourself so that you gain greater self-awareness. You’ll develop a deeper understanding of your needs in relationship to yourself and others. Along this journey, healing occurs that offers new perspective taking.

We’ll explore and set goals together that help you achieve the outcomes you seek. I use a culturally-informed lens that considers how identity impacts mental health, especially for those who experience marginalization.

What you can expect from me

Self- and other-awareness, insight into patterns, and coping skills.
