Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker and full-spectrum doula in NJ and DE, with certification in perinatal mental health. My therapeutic focus is perinatal mood and anxiety concerns and matrescence (the huge shift that occurs within us over the course of pregnancy, birth and parenthood). Body image, life transitions, trauma/PTSD, parenting, relationships, anxiety and depression are also central issues I can help with. My approach is client-centered, connection-focused, and trauma-informed.

My approach to therapy

The space I strive to create in therapy is eclectic, open, safe, and non-judgmental. The relationship between client and therapist is of upmost importance to promote the opportunity for witnessing of your pain and empowering you in healing. I prioritize a relational therapy approach with trauma-focused CBT, IFS, and somatic/creative aspects.

What you can expect from me

During our first virtual meeting, we will begin building our connection, as you help me to understand challenges you are facing. Together we will formulate some top priority goals for our work together. I encourage you to provide feedback on what perspectives feel best for you, and I strive to honor your individual preferences in our work.
