Great to meet you!

As a licensed professional counselor with a background in nutrition and fitness, I believe it's important to address the body and the mind. I've been in practice for 14 years, but in the past 6 years have been adding a focus of somatic work into my sessions to help clients get out of their head and into their body. I have found that integrating fitness with mental health helps my clients increase their confidence, self-esteem, and better manage their depression and anxiety.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered approach looking at the entire person and view therapy through a trauma-informed lens. I believe it is important for the client to feel seen and accepted as they are. Healing occurs through connection - with yourself and others. I believe getting back to the basics - nutrition, sleep, movement - also play a vital role in your healing journey. I take a strengths-based approach working with you to help you reach your therapy goals.

What you can expect from me

I always provide an introductory session for you to share your story, discuss your goals, and address any fears or concerns you may have about starting therapy. It is always my mission to provide a safe and inviting environment for you to feel comfortable with the therapeutic environment. This is a joint effort and I look forward to working with you!
