Great to meet you!

I’m a PhD licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being. In therapy, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel understood, heard, and empowered to move forward at your own pace. My goal is to help you not only manage symptoms, but also build together the foundation for lasting emotional well-being. I often integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions, while maintaining a warm, nonjudgmental space for personal growth. My focus is on helping clients develop insight, strengthen coping strategies, and foster meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based—tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. I specialize in working with adults facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress management, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), interpersonal difficulties, and cultural or identity-related concerns.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with—there’s no pressure to have everything figured out.

I’ll ask some questions to get a sense of your background, daily life, and any patterns or challenges you’ve noticed. This helps me better understand your goals and tailor treatment to your specific needs. We’ll also review logistics, such as confidentiality, scheduling, and the general structure of sessions, so you know what to expect moving forward.

By the end of our first meeting, we’ll start identifying some focus areas and possible next steps. Many clients leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about having a clearer direction.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and the first session is just the beginning of that partnership—one built on trust, understanding, and genuine care for your growth and well-being.
