Darian Nagel

I am Darian, an LICSW, with small town roots, forever ingrained in my soul. I work with all individuals, ages 6 and up, however have a dear spot in my heart for the kids, teenagers, pre and postpartum moms and individual who have experienced medical trauma.

I have experience working with individuals in recovery, children in the foster care system, children having a difficult time regulating their nervous system, teenagers having a difficult time with their emotions and parents struggling to find balance. Let's "get your glow back" and find some balance in your life.

I received my Bachelors of Social Work from Winona State University and then went to the University of Minnesota, Duluth to pursue my Masters of Social Work. I am a wife to a wonderful husband and mother to three beautiful children. We enjoy the lake in the summer and they hockey rink in the winter. I serve on a nonprofit board for CHD awareness and education, and also on the Pediatric Family Advisory Council for Mayo Rochester Hospital.

I will work with each individual at their own pace, after identifying their individual strengths. I tend to use techniques from Solution Focused and Motivational Interviewing modalities. I have the goal to challenging your current mindset to empower you to a new way of thinking and living.

The first session will be a time to get to know one another, identify current symptoms, create some goals and to determine how we can work together to meet your needs and goals in relation to your mental health needs. I hope to leave you a sense of empowerment to want more and to find your inner strength to create a better tomorrow.
