Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Darrah Ferguson, and welcome to Esteem Counseling Services. I know that sometimes life becomes challenging and can be too much for us to handle. We often find ourselves asking questions like, "Why did this happen to me?" "How will I get through this?" "What do I do now?" "Will I ever be me again?" You are not alone in feeling like this. You do not have to feel ashamed either. I’m here to help you get through it all.

My approach to therapy

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2016 and my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2018. I have 5 years of experience working with young adults and adults with severe mental illness, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have also begun working with children and teenagers who experience anxiety and depression.

What you can expect from me

My passion is working with minority groups to provide the resources and services we deserve and need. My goal is to help you become your best self through developing strong mental wellbeing. I promise to respect you, value you, admire your journey, and restore your belief that you can and will be whole again. Take the next step with me to begin healing.
