Hello, my name is Darren (he/him). I provide counseling to individuals & couples. I have worked in the mental health field for fourteen years and have been a counselor for over five years.

I strive to provide an environment that is authentic, non-judgmental, warm, and collaborative. I subscribe to a humanistic approach to working therapeutically, meeting people where they are in the moment and building a strong alliance. Using modalities with ACT-informed skills and DBT-informed skills.

Peer reviewed research suggests that the most vital aspect of a strong therapeutic relationship is trust, and building a genuine connection. This allows for feelings of vulnerability and honest communication in sharing thoughts, beliefs and feelings in a safe environment.
