I have been a counselor within the states of Maryland and West Virginia for the last eight years. I have been in the human services and helping field for the last 15 years working with almost all populations from young children to adults. As a counselor I utilize an eclectic approach to individualize each session for every person who chooses to work with me.
I am by all means an eclectic style counselor. I pull specifically from expressive, person-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches to individualize sessions as best I can for each person choosing to work with me. I utilize evidence-based practices to help each person work through challenges in their life and attempt to improve their quality of life while achieving their individual goals.
I try to help each person set individualized goals for themselves and their specific circumstances. I strive to create a flexible, creative and warm therapeutic environment. Working with me begins with goal setting and rapport building to ensure that I am the best fit counselor to work with in order to achieve your personal goals and objectives.
