Great to meet you!

Welcome, and I'm really glad you're here. I know it can take real courage to reach out, and I want you to know you don't have to walk this journey alone. This is a safe, welcoming place where you can be fully heard, supported, and gently guided with care and faith at the center. My style is warm, compassionate, and encouraging, and I strive to meet each person with respect and understanding no matter where they are in life. I support the whole person, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, and I integrate biblical principles when that's meaningful to you, while fully honoring those who do not identify with a faith background. Together, we'll take things one step at a time, trusting God to lead and strengthen you along the way.

My approach to therapy

My counseling approach is grounded in compassion, professionalism, and a faith-informed perspective. I work to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel respected, understood, and never judged. Together, we'll explore your concerns, establish meaningful goals, and move toward genuine growth and healing, integrating biblical principles when desired while fully respecting those who do not share a faith background. I believe healing happens when we care for the whole person, so I pay attention not only to what you're facing emotionally and mentally, but also to your spiritual well-being when that matters to you. My hope is that our work together helps you feel supported, build on your strengths, and experience meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we'll take time to get to know one another and begin building a trusting, supportive relationship. We'll talk about what brought you to counseling and any concerns or challenges you're facing, and together we'll start identifying meaningful goals for your journey. There's no pressure to have everything figured out. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, understood, encouraged, and supported as we take this first step forward together.

In our first sessions, we'll explore questions like: What would healing or progress look like for you? What is bothering you the most? What changes would you hope to see in your life? These conversations help guide our work together and ensure therapy is focused on what matters most to you.
