I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Maryland. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults. I also provide psychotherapy, though my psychotherapy practice is currently at capacity. At this time, I am accepting new Headway patients for medication management only.
My approach involves taking a look at the whole person, including life history, personality patterns, relationships, current stressors, and physical health. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I aim to understand the broader context in which those symptoms developed and are maintained.
During our first session, we will explore your current concerns, symptoms, and stressors in detail. We will review your medical, psychiatric, family, and social history to better understand the broader context of what you’re experiencing. We will also clarify your treatment goals and determine whether I am the right fit to help you meet them. When appropriate, we may discuss and begin a medication to help address specific symptoms.
