Great to meet you!

You look like you have it together on the outside, but internally, things feel increasingly out of control. Drinking, marijuana, gambling, pornography, or other habits may have started as a way to cope, escape, or unwind, but now they're creating problems you can no longer ignore. You've probably tried to cut back, control it, or manage it on your own. Maybe it worked for a while, but the same patterns keep returning. I work with men who are tired of repeating the same cycle and are ready to make meaningful changes.

I specialize in addiction recovery, substance use disorders, and behavioral addictions, including gambling and pornography. As a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (NC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (SC), and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), I provide a practical, structured approach focused on long-term change. Therapy goes beyond simply talking about the problem. We work to understand what's driving the behavior, build healthier coping strategies, increase accountability, and create a clear path forward.

Many of the men I work with are successful, responsible people who know something needs to change but aren't sure how to get there. If you're ready to stop repeating the same patterns and start building a different future, I offer secure online counseling across North Carolina. The first session is simply a conversation about what's happening and where you want things to go next.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, structured, and focused on real change. We don’t just talk about what’s going on, we work on understanding the patterns that keep pulling you back and building a clear, practical way forward. I work with men who feel stuck in cycles around substances or behaviors and have reached a point where they know something needs to change.

Together, we focus on identifying what's driving the behavior, building healthier coping strategies, increasing accountability, and developing a recovery plan that can hold up in everyday life. The goal is not just temporary improvement, but meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a straightforward conversation focused on understanding what’s going on, what’s not working, and what you’d like to be different. We’ll look at the patterns you’ve been dealing with, discuss what may be keeping you stuck, and start getting clear on a practical path forward. There’s no pressure and no expectation that you have everything figured out. The goal is simply to understand where you are and determine the next steps that make sense for you.
