Great to meet you!
I am a trauma-informed therapist trained in DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR. My work integrates clinical psychology, learning science, and lived experience with trauma and recovery. I hold a doctorate in Learning Sciences, a master’s degree in counseling psychology, and an MBA. My background also includes entrepreneurship and leadership in high-responsibility environments, giving me firsthand understanding of performance pressure, decision fatigue, and the cost of carrying too much for too long. My practice is structured, grounded, and person-centered. I often work with thoughtful, high-functioning people who appear capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or dysregulated internally. Together, we explore how trauma, nervous system responses, learning history, relationships, and environment can shape patterns of thinking, reacting, and relating. I believe therapy should lead to more than insight. Understanding the past matters, but so does developing the ability to respond differently in the present. My goal is to help you build greater emotional regulation, clarity, self-understanding, and healthier patterns that create meaningful and lasting change. My approach is shaped by advanced clinical training as well as my own lived experience with trauma, personal growth, and regulation work. I am a National Certified Counselor, an active member of AMHCA, NBCC, and HFES, and a Birkman Certified Professional. To learn more about my approach, visit www.mindfulfillness.org.
