Great to meet you!

Hello!

My name is David Zealy-Wright and I am excited to meet you and help you rewrite what your story means to you. My professional background is in clinical mental health, education, and addiction treatment.

My specialties include, life changes, LGBTQIA topics, addiction, depression, anxiety, relationships, and mens issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded first in an existential philosophy. That's a fancy way to say that I believe that deciding what the darkest chapters in our lives mean to our overall stories is only up to the individual. I pair this with cognitive behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, and a wicked sense of humor to help my clients acheive real and lasting results.

What you can expect from me

The first session with me will feel more like talking to an old friend. I am warm and empathetic but also direct. That said, I will also make sure we get to know each other well before I drop a lead brick on a feather boa.
