Great to meet you!

I graduated from Salisbury University in 2019, where I majored in both Social Work & Psychology and minored in Gender & Sexuality studies. After receiving my bachelors degrees I attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore where I graduated with my MSW in 2021. I began working as an LMSW in the fall of 2021 and I became an LCSW-C in March of 2024. I provide telehealth services as my second job, and have been for over two years now. Full time I am a school social worker for students with emotional disabilities, which I have done for almost 5 years.

My approach to therapy

I am known for building strong therapeutic relationships, being open-minded, supportive, humorous, and understanding. I am a therapist that will give a reality check or ask the hard/deep questions when it is appropriate and necessary in treatment. I pull from multiple theories to address client needs in the most effective manner. Anxiety and ADHD are my strongest areas of knowledge, and where I feel I have had the most success. I have also worked and seen success with clients/students who have Depression, Conduct Disorder, Mood Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Selective Mutism, Social Anxiety, and Panic Disorders.

What you can expect from me

We will start discussing why you are looking for therapy, what works and what doesn't work, and anything else you want me to know. I like to take the time to really get to know a client and allow them to get to know me as well (within limits to maintain ethical guidelines). The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of therapy being successful. Throughout treatment I will give you homework, ideas and skills to see what is effective.
