Great to meet you!

Welcome, I'm glad you're here. I'm Dawn, and my passion is helping people feel seen, heard, and supported through life's challenges. I work with adolescents and adults who are carrying the weight of trauma, anxiety, or depression, whether that's childhood trauma or abuse, military trauma, or the lasting impact of a narcissistic parent, ex, or partner. Many of us do this work because we've lived some of it ourselves, and I bring that understanding with me into every session. I strive to create a safe, open, and confidential space where trust can grow, a space where you feel free to be yourself.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing and growth happen when we feel safe enough to be vulnerable. I keep it real: I talk to you like a person, not a diagnosis, because not everyone connects with clinical "therapy talk." I offer a nonjudgmental, compassionate environment and take a holistic view of your wellbeing, considering not just your mental health, but your day-to-day life, relationships, and inner strengths. My role is to walk alongside you: listening, supporting, challenging, and encouraging you as we work together toward your goals.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about you. It's a chance for you to share your story, your hopes, and what you'd like to get out of therapy. There's no pressure, just a welcoming space to begin building a connection at your own pace. I'll do my best to help you feel comfortable, safe, and respected as we explore how we might work together.
