Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward better mental health is an act of courage, and I am here to support you every step of the way. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience in mental health working with children, adolescents, and adults.

I work with individuals ages six and older from all walks of life navigating ADHD, behavioral challenges, mood challenges, anxiety, psychosis, personality disorders, sleep issues, women's issues, military issues, trauma, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, panic disorders, anger management, stress, relationship challenges, chronic conditions and more. I am committed to providing compassionate, personalized care that honors your unique story, background, and lived experiences.

My approach is collaborative and patient-centered. I take the time to truly understand who you are — your strengths, your challenges, and your goals — so that together we can build a care plan that is meaningful and effective for your life. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of good outcomes, and I am dedicated to creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard.

I provide holistic care, meaning I am invested in treating you as a person, not just your condition. I am dedicated to providing personalized care tailored to meet your unique needs. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and seeking help is a sign of strength. You have come to the right place, and I will support you on your journey to wellness.

My approach to therapy

I offer both medication management and individual therapy, and I work closely with each patient to determine the combination of services that best supports their needs and goals. I also place particular emphasis on the role that cultural identity and life context play in mental health and wellness.

My approach is collaborative and patient-centered. I take the time to truly understand who you are, your strengths, your challenges, and your goals, so that together we can build a care plan that is meaningful and effective for your life. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of good outcomes, and I am dedicated to creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard.

My clinical approach draws from Strength-Based therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, solution-focused psychotherapy, and parent-child interpersonal therapy. These are evidence-informed frameworks that focus on building resilience, fostering insight, and empowering sustainable change. I use psychotherapy to assist in navigating life and finding fulfillment in the journey.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll talk about what brought you in and what you're hoping will change. I'll take the time to understand your story, your strengths, your challenges, and your goals so we can begin building a care plan together.

You can expect a warm, inclusive, and safe environment where you feel heard and valued. We will work together to develop a treatment plan that empowers you to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. If you are ready to take that next step, I would be honored to be part of your journey toward greater well-being.
