Great to meet you!

I am a graduate from St. Mary’s University with a master’s degree in Developmental Disabilities and Counseling and Psychological Services. I held a career as a Director for 20 years providing supervision and home programming for children and adults with behavioral, mental and physical disabilities.

My approach to therapy

My areas of interest are adults, adults with trauma experiences, people with disabilities, families and couples. I utilizes a variety of techniques with a focus on cognitive behavior therapy incorporating a holistic approach to provide client centered therapy. I also specializes in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). I have experience working with individuals with trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. I am proud of my skill in building a positive therapeutic relationship with my clients. I work hard to tailor the client’s treatment plan with an approach and goals that meet the specific needs of the individual seeking therapy.

What you can expect from me

My first session will involve reviewing intake documents, getting to know each other, a discussion about the individuals need for therapy and what they can expect moving forward. We will then complete a diagnostic assessment and identify goals they would like to meet in therapy
